Nondestructive Testing Department of National Institute of Research and Development for Technical Physics Iasi, ROMANIA has been serving the research and development community since 1976. We specialize in :

- Eddy current nano-sensors array for detecting and evaluation of cracks in conductive materials
- Signal processing and algorithms for all kind of eddy current inspection
- Data fusion and inversion
- US (ultrasonic) nondestructive evaluation using Lamb waves
- Monitoring of carbon –epoxy composite structures using fiber Bragg gratings;
- Theoretical studies and simulation of fatigue; flaw growth and propagation;
- Theoretical modeling of nonlinear materials
- Experimental validation of theoretical data;
- Forward and inverse problems in EC (eddy current) and UT (ultrasound testing) .
