FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROMETER FT-IR JASCO 6100
FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROMETER FT-IR JASCO 6100 is used to obtain an infrared spectrum of absorption or emission of a solid. Basically, infrared spectroscopes consist of the infrared source, the Michelson interferometer which is the core of FT-IR spectrometer, the power supply unit, the detector, and personal computer. The FT-IR spectrometer simultaneously collects high-spectral-resolution data over a wide spectral range. This instrument covers the wavelength range from about 2.5 μm to 25 μm (wavenumber range 4,000 cm−1 to 400 cm−1). FT- IR spectrometers are widely used in organic analysis, polymer science, petrochemical engineering, pharmaceutical industry and food analysis.
